Hi, am Andreas Phasoulides, founder of Clepsydra Watches. 

This voyage into the Watches’ World, begun early in my life, since my father was also a watch-repairer. As a kid I loved to watch him work on those tiny watches, but I have to admit it, I loved even more whenever I had the chance to sneak and handle any of those strange tools. Eventually, along with my normal school, I was also an apprentice at my father’s shop during school vacations. Watching for endless hours before finally starting to work on real pieces, my first tasks were on alarm clocks. By the time I was 18 I could service a normal mechanical watch. 

My later studies at the watch making school of WOSTEP, in Neuchâtel , Switzerland was a real boost for skills in watch repairs and passion for watches in general.

Coming back to Cyprus, I was employed as a watch repairer in a local company's workshop. At some point, I decided to go self-employed and thus my first shop was established under my name. Watch sales were next introduced into the business and a few years later, I moved to my current location where the company Clepsydra Watches Ltd was initiated.

Today, you can find in the shop recognized quality watches and watch straps, plus you can ascertain that I continue to repair watches with the same dedication for excellence.
